The company was named Beijing Heavy Electric Machinery Works when established in 1958, and was officially established as Beijing BEIZHONG Steam Turbine Generator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “BEIZHONG”) after a discrete conversion from debt to equity in October 2000. The company has a registered capital of 780 million yuan and over 1,867 employees, more than 330 of which are engineering technicians.
BEIZHONG is a large generating equipment manufacturing company focusing on producing equipment such as power station steam turbine, turbonator and power station auxiliary equipment as well as operating turnkey projects. With a floor space of 260 thousand square meters, the building area is 180 thousand square meters. BEIZHONG possesses more than 700 excellent producing and processing equipment dominated by numerical control equipment as well as a complete set of testing facilities including high speed balancing chamber, generator testing station, P&C lab, X-ray room, nondestructive inspection room and insulation test room.
